When Crypto.com Arena needed new infrastructure to carry its LED display presence across downtown Los Angeles, CW Industries was contracted to fabricate two custom 180-foot steel towers. They were engineered to precise structural specifications for load, wind tolerance, and active-venue installation requirements.
Scope
Fabrication of two custom structural steel towers, each 180 feet tall, engineered to support high-output LED display systems with precise load and wind ratings.
Challenge
Fabricating large-scale structural steel for an active, high-profile venue environment, with zero tolerance for error in an arena that operates year-round.

Disney gave us 12 months to rebuild the King Arthur Carousel. We did it in 3.
In 2001, Disney commissioned CW Industries to completely rebuild the King Arthur Carousel. It is one of Disneyland's most historically significant attractions, originally built in 1922. We stripped it to every bolt, redesigned the structure from wood to steel, engineered it to modern codes, and reinstalled it in 90 days.
Scope
Complete structural redesign of a historic carousel from original wood construction to steel. This project included full disassembly, component storage, engineering, fabrication, and reinstallation.
Challenge
Rebuilding a 1922 attraction to modern structural codes while preserving its mechanical character. We followed strict Disney quality standards and on a compressed timeline.
CW Solution
We designed, drew, and fabricated the complete steel structure at our Long Beach facility. Horses and trim stored with Disney. Full reinstallation completed in 90 days.

Downtown Los Angeles, CaliforniaOne of downtown LA's most ambitious high-rise developments. Our structural steel is in the walls.
CIRCA Los Angeles is a landmark residential and commercial high-rise directly across from Crypto.com Arena. CW Industries fabricated and delivered the structural steel package installed throughout the project. We coordinated sequenced delivery and field support in an active urban construction environment.
Scope
Full structural steel fabrication package for a landmark downtown high-rise, including sequenced urban delivery and field installation support.
Challenge
Urban high-rise construction requires tight coordination on delivery windows, crane availability, and installation sequence. We had zero room for schedule slippage.

Fabricated the full structural package at Long Beach. Coordinated delivery sequencing to match the construction schedule, minimizing holding time and keeping the critical path clean.

The Pacific Electric Lofts. This is a landmark adaptive reuse project in Downtown Los Angeles. It required a complete structural steel package including residential level framing, rooftop deck structure, and architectural metalwork throughout. Working within the constraints of a historic building, we delivered the structural infrastructure that transformed this property into one of downtown's most distinctive addresses.

Challenge
Historic buildings impose constraints on structural intervention. Conditions are unpredictable, and the work must meet modern code without compromising character.

Fabricated and installed a full steel package adapted to existing conditions. The project flowed from residential framing to the rooftop deck structure supporting the building's signature amenity level.

The infrastructure that connects millions of visitors to Disneyland Resort each year. We built it.
The Anaheim Resort Transportation system serves millions of visitors annually across the Disneyland Resort District and Anaheim Convention Center corridor. CW Industries fabricated and installed the complete series of custom steel bus stop structures: powder coated, architecturally finished, and built to handle the demands of a world-class resort environment.
Scope
Fabrication and installation of a full series of custom steel transit structures: decorative metalwork, powder coated finish, multi-site installation across the Anaheim Resort District.
Challenge
Public-facing infrastructure in a premier resort district must be visually aligned with the surrounding environment while meeting structural requirements for permanent outdoor installation.

This SB-2 shovel bucket arrived at our Long Beach service shop worn down and out of spec from a Bakersfield extraction operation. Our team handled precision line boring to restore dimensional tolerances measured in thousandths of an inch, full structural welding and rebuild, and industrial-grade coating. It left ready for years of hard service.
Scope

Challenge
Line boring requires tolerances in thousandths of an inch. Worn equipment arrives in unpredictable condition and structural damage is only fully understood once disassembly begins.

Our Long Beach service shop handled full disassembly, precision boring to spec, structural rebuild, and industrial finish. The bucket was returned to operational condition exceeding original spec.
